The "Schwanengau" - for centuries this area has been distinguished by its charming symbiosis of nature, culture and tradition. Up to this day you can feel the unique atmosphere that surrounds our "House at the Park".
The nearby "Schwansee Lake" park has been an inspiration, refreshment, and nature-experience to the Bavarian royal dynasty since 1832. On behalf of King Maximilian II, Carl August Schell designed this "English Garden" around 1830.
Centuries ago there was a myth about the minstrel "Hiltepold from Schwangau". Later on skilled violin makers established themselves underneath the imperial "High Castle" in the neighboring town of Füssen. The talent for uniqueness is deeply anchored in our region and has been known worldwide before the building of castle "Neuschwanstein".
It was our dear wish to reflect this long tradition of the "Schwanengau" while also offering Bavarian coziness when we built our "House at the Park".
Enjoy the romantic ambiance in our house! With a personal atmosphere we make sure that your vacation will be a rejuvenating experience and the most beautiful time of your year.
